| Jacqueline Laughlin Summit Singers' Director
Jacqueline Laughlin has directed the Longmont Children's Chorale for seven years. She directed the Esprit Singers for four years prior to her appointment to the Children's Chorale. The Children's Chorale were featured performers at Disneyland in Anaheim California in June of 2003. They have also sung in Washington D.C. and Branson, Missouri under Ms. Laughlin's direction. They have been selected to sing with the National Children's Chorus at Carnegie Hall in New York City in April of 2005. Ms. Laughlin has taught elementary music for 21 years, the past eighteen in Longmont. Past activities include coordination of the Longmont Chorale Youth Vocal Competition, participation in the Longmont Chorale and the Chorale Singers, and coordinator of the elementary/Children's Honor Choir for the Colorado American Choral Director's Association. She holds a Bachelor's degree in music education with vocal emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's degree from the University of Colorado. Ms. Laughlin is a member of the Music Educator's National Conference and served as the Repertoire and Standards Chairperson for the Elementary and Children's music for the state chapter of the American Choral Director's Association. Her work in the St. Vrain Valley schools includes serving on the writing team that developed the current music Curriculum.
