Welcome to all 2006-07 Families
Welcome to the Longmont Children’s Chorale Director’s Notes blog. We welcome back all the returning families from last season and say ‘hello’ to the new families joining the organization this year. The Director’s Notes area is a place where parents of choir members can keep up with information, changes, and announcements. We will continue to send notes home with your child, but know that this area will also contain the same information. Whenever new information is added to the blog, an e-mail will be sent to you with a link to see the information in Director’s Notes. Click on the link to read the new message. You may also access the Director’s Notes area using this web address: http://notes.longmontcc.org/. From the main screen you can select which choir, Esprit Singers or LCC, to view.
I am Cathy Balan, the new Business Manager. Many of you already know me as the accompanist for Esprit Singers. I will continue to play for Esprit because it is so enjoyable and an outlet for my creative side. I have been part of this organization since 1999. The first six years as a parent and the last 3½ years as the Esprit accompanist. You can reach me at the business number, 303-774-0990, or at home, 303-774-6304. We are working on putting the season’s calendar together. Regular concert dates have been posted to our website, www.longmontcc.org. Please note that some dates are still awaiting venue confirmation and may change. Each family received important events to plan for in August and September in the welcome letter sent in mid-July. We will get a finalized calendar with all dates and information by the time rehearsals start.
Please may I remind you that monthly dues payments begin in August. All families should have sent in the first payment, which is the ‘acceptance fee’ for new members or ‘initial dues payment’ for returning members. If you have not, please remit this payment promptly to the post office box so that you do not fall behind in your payments. Invoices and statements will be mailed August 1 and payments are due August 15.

Verification of LCC members for 2006-07
Welcome everyone!
I am Cathy Balan the new Business Manager for the Longmont Children's Chorale. Many of you already know me as the accompanist for the Esprit Singers. I obviously have added new duties to my work! We are winding up for our new 2006-07 season, and some of you are leaving our group as your children move on to other activities. I need to do some housekeeping of the e-mail addresses for the blog. IF YOU ARE NOT RETURNING FOR THE 2006-07 SEASON (either as Esprit or Summit), PLEASE SEND AN E-MAIL TO cathy_balan@comcast.net TO HAVE YOUR ADDRESS REMOVED FROM THE BLOG LIST. I will only remove those addresses who send me a reply. Thank you for being part of LCC.
