About Us
Formed in 1991, the Summit Singers consists of
children, going into 3rd grade through high
school. Under the
direction of Jacqueline Laughlin, St. Vrain
Valley School District vocal music teacher,
this chorale is uniformed, and member ship is
by audition only. Their invitations to sing at
the 1998 Regional Rotary Conference at The
Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, at the 1992 and
1993 state conferences for the Colorado Music
Educators Association, and at various Broncos,
Rockies, and Nuggets games are proof of their
professionalism. In 1996, the Esprit Singers
group was formed for younger singers (going
into 3rd grade through 13) and is directed by Camilla
Johnson. This group performs twice yearly with
the Summit Singers. Summit
